Mobbler is a free S60 Mobile application that gets connected to your
Last.FM account and keeps a track of the music that you like to listen. If you are already using
Last.fm on your desktops you know how useful that is and how your preferences and music heard history helps the system to play just the kind of music you like.
This Activity tracking is basically just helps the system to stream the artists, genre and kind of music that you have previously liked.
Mobbler comes up with a full fledged interface based application,Mobbler now offers streaming music, with several custom stations to choose from, all personalized on the spot.
With the help of type of Artist or Tag you can simply enter in an artist or tag (for example, Atif aslam or rock) and then tune into a streaming internet radio station which is appropriate for that entry.
On the basis of User - This is a station that Last.FM creates based on your listening habits, customised to you.
Loved Tracks - As you use Last.FM, you can love or ban music tracks, depending on whether or not you like them. This station consists of all the tracks you have ever marked as ˜loved .
Mobbler is a perfect internet radio application. That means it uses a constant stream of data. If you use Mobbler with your cellular data connection, make sure that you have an unlimited plan, or you can use WiFi
The best thing about Mobbler is that I don’t need to download music before listening to it. The songs are streamed. The experience is excellent if you have fast 3G or wifi connection.
Mobbler is free to download but you also need to sign up for a free account at Last.fm. The phone I used for this demo was the Nokia N82, but the app should work with all Nokia S60 3rd edition mobile phones.

Installing Mobbler
Mobbler should be compatible with all S60 3rd edition and 5th edition smartphones. Please visit the
Compatibility wiki page to see a full list.
Download the
mobbler_s60_x_x_x.sisx file on the right and install Mobbler on you phone. Please note that if you are upgrading Mobbler, you may need to uninstall your current version before installing again.
If you get a certificate error when installing Mobbler, it probably means that your phone does not accept self signed applications. You will need to go to the application manager on your phone and change the software installation setting from signed only to all.
If your phone is a pre-FP1 3rd edition phone, you should also install
mobblerhelper.sis. If you don't know what your phone is then it won't hurt to install this anyway.
